An earlier work, GCW028 is a rectangular bonsai pot blends handbuilt construction with a raw, textural surface. Subtle canvas impressions and gentle wall undulations trace the pot’s making, revealing the story of its construction and the quiet presence of the maker’s hand. A soft cream glaze breaks over an iron-washed surface, drawing out warm earth tones and visual depth across the form.

With its generous size, this pot is ideal for medium to large deciduous trees like trident maples, Japanese maples, or flowering species — offering a grounding, naturalistic base that harmonizes beautifully with broad canopies and seasonal movement.
