This round bonsai pot is entirely wheel-thrown. Made from coarse brown stoneware, the piece features a gently contoured profile that subtly flares outward and narrows at the base, creating a dynamic silhouette. The glaze combination is a striking layered effect: a slate blue top coat over a classic oxblood base, producing rich red breaking and speckling that dances across the surface, especially along the rim. The carved feet are thrown and trimmed as part of the integrated form, providing both stability and visual lift.

Ideal for conifers, deciduous trees, or dramatic kusamono arrangements. Cone 10 reduction fired. Part of the Signature Series from Ginkgo Clayworks — one-of-a-kind works that explore glaze layering and wheel-thrown artistry.
