Arch Form No. 1

This one-of-a-kind arched vessel explores balance through tension and curve — a bowed slab form lifted on angled footings, glazed in a classic oribe that breaks into lavender, moss, and sky at its edges. Built from brown stoneware and fired to Cone 10 reduction, the surface carries a soft iridescence and quiet texture, with pooled drips where glaze met air. The interior cavity is both functional and symbolic — a framed space that invites openness rather than containment.

Held in the Artist’s Reserve at Ginkgo Clayworks, this experimental piece will not be offered for sale.
