This hexagonal bonsai pot balances precision and softness — its sharply defined planes softened by a classic translucent celadon glaze that reveals fine crazing, pooling at the rim, and faint iron specks throughout the surface. Built in porcelain and reduction-fired to Cone 10, the pot sits on sculpted white feet that give it quiet lift and clarity. Its crisp geometry and glassy glaze make it a study in restraint — too consistent to be loud, too elegant to be purely functional.

Held in the Artist’s Reserve at Ginkgo Clayworks.
